The Arab Forum of Insurance Regulatory Commissions (AFIRC) was established in September 2006 with the mission of leading the effort to achieve harmonization of insurance regulatory and supervisory frameworks across the Arab world by promoting the adoption and implementation of international standards among members and facilitating the sharing of information and expertise.
